Teachers need to normalize taking a 10min break if they see some student fall asleep . I was in med university and this is what my prof once done, she knows that its not easy and almost everyday we dont get enough sleep . Never had enough sleep

I think students and teachers both deserve rest instead of yelling at each other like this, it doesn't resolve conflicts at all. We're all human, we can feel tired and drained especially at school, so both are in the wrong. not one or the other, both.

I understand that teachers can sometimes feel frustrated when students come to school late or fall asleep in class. However, calling out a student publicly is not the right approach. Students today grow up in different environments and face different challenges, so educators must also learn how to approach them with understanding and sensitivity. A teacher could address the situation privately and respectfully instead. As a teacher myself, I have never believed in humiliating students in front of others. When my students do something wrong, I speak with them privately because guidance and discipline are more effective when given with respect and empathy.
