@dr.matthew.parker: Sometimes it feels like psychiatrists pick antidepressants randomly and without reason, but there are a lot of intricacies to choosing the right antidepressant. Feeling really anxious, like the world won’t quiet down and it’s hard to outrun your own thoughts? Lexapro would be a good option. Feeling unmotivated and down, and need some energy to get on with your day? Prozac or Wellbutrin can help Struggle with constant obsessive and ruminating thoughts that just won’t stop? Luvox would be a great option. Of course, not all meds work the same for everyone. After all, this is why it’s called practicing medicine. #MentalHealth #depression #anxiety #MentalHealthAwareness #psychiatry

I have tried all RIs and I hate all of them, but my physiatrist continues to attack my depression episodes like that’s the main problem. I’m just always in an uncomfortable pain, and the only 2 alright medications that I’ve received are Adderall and gabapentin and gabapentin is buns, gimme
