Just look up any pension fund finance records n copy their halal trade u will make more pay no fee all holding of pension funds cant b risky investment

Anyone making the argument “I won’t live for that long” is completely wrong. Ofc anything can happen, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow etc but there’s nothing wrong with having a safety net. I understand if you need the money now then you can’t contribute to your pension and that’s okay, BUT that should be a last resort too. Also don’t forget that your pension can go to beneficiaries so you can also help out your family when you’re gone.

I'm a 2nd generation Bangladeshi and I opted out of my civil service workplace pension very happily....firstly because I believe I'll inshallah become a millionaire way before 68... secondly even if I don't as long as i outlive my parents.(who are 40 years old then me). I should inherit over a millionaire in equity, as my dad has 7 houses in London. someone who relies on a pension as failed in life. no offense intended

As a Bangladeshi we tend not to live as long as our white counterparts that’s stats too. Let everyone make their own minds up depending on their demographics and needs & lifestyle factors etc.

wait so let me get this straight, you want them to pay into their pension where the pension companies might use the funds to invest in things that doesn't align with their beliefs? yeah nah a hard pass thanks! Also if and when you can guarantee that I live upto retirement age talk to me then.
