@kai_sea913: 🌿 CLIMBING PASSES. CROSSING RIVERS. FEELING ALIVE. 😌😌😌 🌿 This is what I came here for. ⚡ Not the summit selfies. Not the curated travel reels. Not the “I survived” trophy moments. 🥾 Just this — the pure, raw, half-feral joy of moving through wild country with nothing but two legs, a backpack, and a heart that finally remembered how to beat properly. 💚🏔️ The trail today gave me everything. 🌀 A pass to climb. Lungs burning. Calves screaming. Sweat freezing on my forehead in the alpine wind. Every step a negotiation between my body and the altitude. And then — the top. The wind hitting my face. Prayer flags exploding off a cairn. The valley dropping away below me like the whole earth tilted just to show off. 🚩⛰️ A river to cross. Glacial water the color of liquid jade. So cold it bites through your boots. A wobbly wooden bridge held together by faith and old rope. Halfway across, I stopped. Looked down at the rushing water. Felt the spray on my face. Laughed out loud at nobody. 💧🌊 A forest of rhododendron and pine. Sunlight cutting through the canopy in golden columns. The smell of wet earth and juniper smoke drifting from somewhere up the hill. A squirrel chittering. A river thrushing. Wind moving through everything like a slow exhale. 🌲☀️ The wild mood. 🌿 This is the headspace the Himalayas put you in. You stop checking your phone because there’s no signal. You stop checking the time because the sun tells you everything you need to know. You stop checking yourself because there’s no mirror — and slowly, you start becoming the version of you that existed before screens, before deadlines, before all the noise. 📵🌅 You eat when you’re hungry. You drink when you’re thirsty. You stop when something is beautiful. You walk when the trail calls. The simplest life. The richest life. 🤍 The photo stops. 📸 Every fifteen minutes — another shot. A waterfall pouring out of a cliff face. A yak standing in the middle of the trail like he owns it (he does). A weathered prayer wheel spinning lazily in the wind. A bridge wrapped in faded khata scarves. A wildflower I can’t name growing out of a crack in granite at 4,000 meters. 🪻 Some shots are framed. Some are blurry. Some are crooked. Doesn’t matter. These aren’t for Instagram. These are for me — for the version of me sitting at a desk six months from now who needs to remember what aliveness actually feels like. 🌀 The mountain self. ⛰️ Something shifts after a few days out here. Your face changes. Your eyes change. The way you walk changes. You stop performing. You stop apologizing. You stop overthinking. You move like an animal again — quiet, watchful, light. 🐺 You smile at strangers. You stop and breathe for no reason. You laugh at the wind. You eat your dal bhat like it’s the best meal of your life because, somehow, it is. 🍛 The truth. 🤍 People ask why we do this. Why we leave warm beds and good coffee and Netflix to come and suffer at altitude. The answer is simple. ⚡ Because down there, we slowly forget who we are. Up here, the mountains rip the layers off and hand you back to yourself. ❄️🏔️ I climbed today. I crossed rivers. I took bad photos and good ones. I laughed alone on a bridge. I sat on a rock and watched a cloud roll over a peak for ten minutes and felt richer than I’ve ever felt in a city. 🌀 The Himalayas don’t ask anything of you. They just give you room to breathe — and somewhere between the third pass and the fifth river crossing, you remember that being wild was always your default setting. You just forgot. 🌿 Some people travel to see new places. Some of us travel to find old versions of ourselves. 🤍 Would you come with me? 👇🌿 #WildTrekking #Himalayas #Nepal #ManasluCircuit #IntoTheWild
