I’m 50 I hate how my life turned out stuck in the tiny village I grew up in and despise because I only earn enough to exist, never married, not 1 adult to even speak to, spend all day waiting to get back to bed to try and sleep away this life 😢

I'm 44, never married, never had kids. And for some reason I don't have a single person in my life to talk to. Can't even say why. I choose not to smoke or drink. I love travelling, and keep fit. Never take tablets of any kind and feel amazing because of it. But sociallyI literally can't name a single friend. So I'm busy planning my next trips, couple of hours at the gym every day. I look forward to small talk at the supermarket checkout, getting in the bus, but my smile and sense of humour is rewarded with blank faces, lack of engagement or interest. Is it me or are others in the same boat here?

Its taken me to the age of 40 to realise people are unreliable at best. My sons 21 and left home, my ex left me for a younger guy afyer 19 years together! So I sold up, bought a nice motorhome and now just travel with my dog. Couldn't be happier. If I meet people on the way, bonus. Am I bothered if I do? Nope. Good luck on your journey 🙂
