Legitimately the saddest dream I’ve ever had I was walking outside a coffee shop and this random girl walked up to me and just said “Look, I know you’re dreaming right now and that I’m not real, but here I think you need this.” Then she just hugged me for the remainder of the dream which lasted surprisingly long after that. The last thing I remember before waking up was her saying “I’ll always be here for you, I promise.” Ever since then, every now and then when I have a lucid dream she’ll show up, recognize me instantly, then gets excited and hugs me. I still don’t know her name and neither do I recognize her face from real life which is weird because you’re not supposed to be able to make up new faces. Still though, whenever she shows up I wake up happy instead of having this bs happen lmao :)

in my lucid nightmares I low-key start making fun of what my brain uses to try and scare me and can't stop laughing because I realize it's a dream and half the time I just get into a full argument with whatever monster it is because they get slef conscious about not being a good monster and I'm like no dude your doing great and when I wake up I both feel giggly and mildly pissed as if the part of my subconscious that makes the dreams is mad I didn't fall for it
