I’m going through your ice queen course… I can only take about 30 minutes at a time before my anxiety has me convulsing. So so so scary!!!

I'm 31 and my vision of relationships is changing thanks to you. I used to be very anxious in my relationships and always assume guys were playing with me and I would get into a fight with any man in my life that would not act exactly how I wanted them to act. Now I accept that bonding with someone takes time, I don't overreact to him not texting me 24/7 and just accept things as they are. Turns out, I feel the dynamic is more respectful and positive ☀️

Dating app profiles make it obvious, based on their "must haves", many people want to date themselves.

I hope you make more vids and podcasts because listening to you calm my nervous system. I was once a FA but now I’m learning to be a secure person and your advice helps me a lot, it makes a lot of sense. Everything you say is on point.

do you have any tips for fearful avoidants when it comes to tapping into self security, leaving cycles of overthinking and unnecessary anxiety?

What are your thoughts on the book “Calling in the One”? It seems like it’s based on narrowing down what you want in a person, rather than in a relationship, but perhaps I’m wrong.

Hi, I’ve been watching your videos and they’ve actually helped me feel a bit less anxious about my situation, so I thought I’d ask for some advice. I’ve been talking to this guy for a little over a month. We went out once and said we’d like to see each other again, but we never made actual plans.
The last time we talked, he said ‘yeah we should’ when I suggested hanging out again—that was about a week ago. I followed up two days later saying, ‘hey hope your week’s been good so far :) if you wanted to hang out let me know and we can plan something,’ and he opened it yesterday but didn’t reply.
I get that he might just be busy or forgot to respond, because I do that sometimes too. I want to send another message just to restart the conversation—doesn’t even have to be about hanging out—but I don’t want to come across as clingy or pushy. At the same time, I don’t want to lose momentum by not saying anything either

A guy asked for my number at a cafe, ghosted me for weeks, then randomly subscribed to my page on another app. When I messaged him, he didn't realize it was me and started playing this smooth, anonymous "book guy" persona. The second I revealed my identity, his brain completely short-circuited—he literally guessed a completely different girl's name, panicked, and then tried to "act natural" by asking about my username. At midnight I decided to call out the awkwardness and asked a factual question about where he buys his Somali poetry books. At 2:42 AM, he finally replied with three soul-crushing, low-effort words: “just Amazon.” Did his smooth persona completely shatter because he got caught, or was he just bored from day one? Please answer I really need your help!
