Xylitol😍 I live in Finland and all the dentists always give advice to take xylitol, they even give it at school sometimes. Me and my daughter eat xylitol after each meal, I always take it after coffee.

A finnish dentist here, most of our candy is not made with xylitol and many people have cavities and/or periodontal disease.

the reason why many of us have good dental health ia because dental care is free all through childhood up to adulthood. is very common to not let kids eat sugar, just on saturdays. I am from Norway.

apart from finland, we generally dont put xylitol in our sweets. even in finland you often need niche candy for that to be a thing. what we do have is pretty rigorous teaching in general health and wellbeing and so far we still dont have as many premade food items as elsewhere. im sure its going to the dogs now as they strip our protections and we will see oral health go down with that like everywhere else.

Weird thing to ask, but do you have any knowledge on animal teeth health - specifically, do you have any guidance? Us humans have xylitol and sodium fluoride (active for). Any guidance for canine teeth health (because they can't have human options). I ask because some canines have great teeth and others suffer with tartar. How to encourage good oral bacteria in dogs?

As a dane we got our teeth treated with flouride in school. Literally had to flush and spit it out. At 40 years I have zero cavaties. I dont know anyone who use birch tree sugar.
