i used to get these on my ashley piercing! i’m 98% sure it’s an irritation bump, you might’ve caught it or bit it. my piercing advised i use chlorhexidine mouthwash to clean the inside of my piercing and it’d clear up the irritation & shrink the bump! + i always got them when i had bars that were the wrong size so double check that ur jewellery isn’t too long/short 🫶

OKAY so im getting LOADS of dm’s so here’s what I did…. hii, yeah! so I basically took all the advice in - cleaning my teeth at least twice a day and after meals if possible, using mouth wash a couple times a day, spraying saline on the outside AND inside (I held my lip open and pushed the piercing in so it could reach everywhere if that makes sense) which tasted bad obviously, I stopped playing/biting/touching it and if I did I washed my hands and that’s about it I think? I was on holiday and in the sea a lot so the salt water from swimming might have also done it good. I can’t remember how long it took to go away but it gradually started shrinking and had been fully gone for a few weeks now. avoid spicy food + smoking and DO NOT try to pop it bc that made it sm worse lol

I don’t think it’s the piercing itself but bacteria that entered through it, or possibly a build up where you’ve avoided brushing against the piercings causing a buildup on teeth? Do not quote me on this please!!!

I would go back to the piercer and ask for them to install a disc onto the piercing they help a TON

Just clean it and brush ur teeth after every meal and if possible stop drinking milk stuff for 2-3 weeks
