Candace’s is selfish because she knew exactly what came with being married to a detective, yet she still acts shocked and resentful every time the job pulls her husband away. She wants the loyalty, protection, and title of being with him, but doesn’t seem willing to accept the sacrifices and pressure that come with detective work. Instead of understanding the weight he carries, she often makes everything about her feelings, even when he’s risking his life doing his job. It makes her come across as someone who loves the idea of him more than the reality of who he is. She fucking selfish and that a my opinion

My only issue with Candace is that she can't keep her mouth shut and should have asked for a divorce before cheating. Other than that, her resentment towards Isiah is justified. He's been emotionally absent in their marriage for over 2 years and missing his son's games. The captain encouraged him to take another position in the force that will allow him more time with his family and he wasn't interested at all. It's obvious that he prioritized work over his family. He was so obsessed with Coltrane that he went as far as getting his hands dirty. Dirty ass corrupt cop!
