One thing I seriously promise to myself is I will take my son on as may vacations as I can!!! My father never took me on a single one when I begged him every single year to now be a 23 year old who’s pregnant and I still have NEVER been on a vacation.

My bday falls on Labor Day weekend sometimes and we always went to families for that. My parents would remember it was Labor Day (which is different almost every year btw) but wouldn’t remember it was my birthday (which is the same day every year btw). And I would spend my bday alone with no gifts or celebration at someone else’s house. One time my parents remembered it was my bday after we had already left the house and they gave me a $10 Walmart budget. And they wonder why I am the way I am now.
