This new anime seems pretty interesting, the first episode was just the build up to the Isekai genre, showing his normal life before going to another world, but I personally think his parents seemed pretty normal, maybe even more loving then most parents in anime. Subaru didn't really seem interested in making conversation with them, and just wanted to read or play games. Naoko had mentioned that he didn't want to go to school, so I personally wonder if something bad happened to him there. But anyway yeah, the new cast of characters do look pretty unique, although I do wonder how they even knew his name? Is this one of those prophecy type stories where the MC is the hero the prophecy foretold or something?
