I first came out as gnc, then genderqueer, and I am very okay with agender. NEVER been okay with nb and don’t think I will, but genderqueer is prolly the most honest.

gender abolitionism is right over here. the concept of gender is restrictive and oppressive to all involved. it's too easy to stereotype and box people. life would be happier and easier without worrying about gender or imposing gender on others. I used to identify as nb and when I realised gender altogether was the problem the weight finally came off my shoulders. stopped caring what others thought, taught myself to love and appreciate my body that I have one life to enjoy it in, and my gender dysphoria slowly evaporated. I happen to be a woman but I'm straight up living life the way I want to without worrying about being perceived by others and it's changed my life for 5 years now.

when i thought i was nonbinary i went with agender for this reason, if i was nonbinary then for me the point was to not have gender as a defining personal trait. not to like, make being nonbinary an important part of my identity
