i genuinely think it’s because of how i was raised, none of my parents were ever really emotionally involved with me, always just screaming and arguing then acting as if nothing ever happened the next day or a few hours later. and i hate it. i want to love people. i want to be loved. i want to mutually want someone the way they potentially want me. i just want my own person, romantically, not platonically. i have enough platonic love. i want to be vulnerable with my person, more than anything.
