@conniesweets: Easy Pistachio Baklava Ingredients Baklava * 2 cups (16 oz) pistachios or walnuts * 1 tablespoon ghee * 1 tablespoon sugar * 1 package phyllo dough (or homemade phyllo dough) * 1 cup melted ghee or butter Simple Syrup * 2 cups water * 1 1/4 cups sugar * Squeeze of lemon juice Instructions 1. Pour the cooled simple syrup over the hot baklava and let it sit for a few hours before serving. Simple Syrup 1. In a small pot, combine the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves. 2. You don’t butter each sheet individually? This looks so much easier than the way I’ve done it 🧐

I can only take one bite of baklava bc it’s so sweet. But I always want at LEAST one piece.

It’s calorie free right? Because if I make a pan of this I’m eating it all.

funny story, I made baklava and yet it smelled strange, I was so confused..Tried a piece and it was God awful, when I opened my cupboard, I realized I had switch my cinnamon for cumin! people dont put cumin and cinnamon together in you cupboards! it would have came out perfect otherwise..sad day for sure.

I made it once…it was awful! Overly crispy on top, soupy on bottom (didn’t absorb the syrup) and the syrup tasted too citrusy 🤢 so disappointing! Gonna have to try your way!
