The hardest part of weight loss is the mental barrier and learning to tell yourself no. After that it’s not hard, it took me two months of inconsistency and slip up to finally tell myself that i just gotta lock in, and that I don’t always have to have what I’m craving and food w always be there later. Now I’ve been locked in for like two weeks and I don’t feel myself wanting to slip up again like I did before. Even when I had an off day or had food I shouldn’t, it’s still within my calorie limit. Thanks for the encouragement videos bro.

I think a lot of comes from not having self discipline. It takes a lot to have that in order to keep moving forward. YES, it’s normal and okay to be hungry after being in a deficit. YES, it’s normal and okay to be hungry at the end of the day. YES, it’s okay and normal to have cravings and be upset to turn it away. This is the self discipline that provides a framework and structure on how to manage and deal with emotional eating ties to trauma. It’s not easy, but that’s the entire point. You’re retraining your brain and system to not depend on junk food to “safety” and “comfort” but to recognize that those same habits are causing more harm and damage than good in the long run.

this analogy is harmful. Eat less calories and more protein not less food, common misconception which messes up a lot of people. plus do cardio AND strength training, people think cardio is the main thing when it isnt

guys I'm finally almost healed from my knee surgery!!! (for the last 5 years I had a plica which is fold in the tissue under the knee cap that made any exercise difficult because it was chronically aching plus gave out on stairs or squats). This means I am finally pain free and going to the gym doesn't feel like such a monumental arduous task!!! I'M GONNA GET SO FUCKING FIT!

it's unfair because there are deep psychological reasons behind any addiction. Sure the fat person needs to eat less and eat more....the alcoholic needs to stop drinking - simple...? I think not
