But then… you find a tick bite. Don’t panic. Here’s exactly what you’re going to do 👇 ✔️ Remove the tick immediately with fine-tip tweezers or a tick remover tool ✔️ Grab the tick close to the skin and pull upward steadily — don’t twist or crush it ✔️ Save the tick in a sealed bag or container in case testing is needed later ✔️ Clean the bite area thoroughly with soap/water or alcohol ✔️ Take a photo of the bite and monitor symptoms over the next days and weeks ✔️ Watch for fever, fatigue, headache, body pain, rash, flu-like symptoms, or neurological changes ✔️ If symptoms develop — or the tick was attached for an extended period — contact a Lyme-literate medical provider ASAP And most importantly: trust your body.
