Nine's personality appears to be based upon the exaggeration of the skater subculture in the late 1990's and early 2000's, using slang such as "tubular", having sunglasses, and owning a skateboard, which was very popular around that time period. In "Alone", Nine is seen to have a soft side when looking after the Skateboarding Aliens, with Nine caring about them and hanging out with them. The Power of Nine: Nine can be shown having their own power they had gotten from the Yoylite in "Alone" and has the same powers that are subject to any Algebralien. Their abilities are similar to those of the other Algebraliens, but these are the ones that stand out a little. Gravity manipulation: Nine is shown in “Thanks for 1,500,000 Subscribers!” driving a motorcycle over the Evil Canyon without falling despite the force of gravity. Explosion/shrapnel resistance: In "Thanks for 1,500,000 Subscribers!", Nine's motorcycle explodes when it hits a tree.
