there's no point in attempting long term regime change or reform but a short invasion to capture the enriched uranium and destroy as much of their underground conventional capability would be worth it. Iran has gambled mostly on long range missiles and proxies and really lack basic military strength.

Both instances they were taken at their lowest by two generals who claimed victory over a crumbling empire that 1 did not have a standing army or 2 fought the Roman’s for the past 300 years nonstop. Like you said it was only circumstances.

The US would have to commit fully to an invasion, and it would most likely lead to Vietnam like losses, but the country would fall in a matter of months… the counter insurgency is the real issue, since the only real way to win a counter an insurgency is kill everyone like Israel

That’s if the Iranians don’t want change. The IRGC are not really favored neither is the regime. Do you remember either protest they were having over woman hijabs and even the executions. I believe it can be don’t, with today’s tech and unpopular opinion of the current regime but yeah it won’t be easy.i feel the US simply won’t do it because they are too divided at home, and trump would be impeached and dems would stop the war.

Ummayyid just took back Syria from the iranian invaders..and they re hurt about it 😂🤣...and now America just took out 40 of its senior leadership..militarily and politically..inckuding Khoeimini and Ali larjani...America does not need to invade them to make iran pay...iranians r already struggling with inflationary prices on food and basics since start of this conflict..not to mention due to sanctions! anyways..good luck Iran 😂🤣
