We got a puppy in November and our daughter was born in January. That sweet puppy would get up with me for every feeding. She would lay on the floor next to my baby girl and stare at my daughter with so much love my heart would burst. I genuinely think she thought she was her puppy. She lived 14 years and was my daughters constant companion. It was the sweetest most irrational decision I ever made. Your house will be full of love and exhaustion and playfulness 💗

Obviously there will be challenges but babies grow so quick and then they can grow up together (baby’s future soul dog) 🥰 Plus the dog will give you company all those late nights/early mornings! ❤️🐶

I think it’s a great idea. You’ll be past the worst of the early puppy days and while you’ll have your hands full it’s also going to be such a love filled season for you. Imo, dogs just make home more homey.🥰

What an adventure! Along with leash training, you should start training the puppy to walk beside the stroller now! It will make those fall and next spring walks so much smoother!
