I see your point but if you allow me, you are referring to Jealousy more than comparison, Comparison is the tool for learning black and white, day and night, good and bad. you need both to identify each. without one the other doesn't exist and what is between is the shades. the story you mentioned if they compared and become better then it is a good comparison. but if you compare and you think you deserve what others have more than them then you are accusing God to be unjust.
