The portal is most likely in the woods. Either your shed was built in one or there’s one near by. If you have a compass it won’t work well near a portal. Look for arches in branches or two trees next to each other. There’s usually visual clues for the portal and which direction to walk through it…hope this helped.

You are not able to see portals. But it is a gateway for spirits to come from the other side to our side and if you don’t close that portal spirits can come in and out. It’s like a doorway that they can just come in and out good, bad children animals and when you do close that portal if you decide to close it, you have to make sure that you have someone that can see all the spirits going or you will lock spirits into this world.

Idk if you’ve seen the show Skinwalker Ranch but they had equipment that found a portal in a vacant building on the property. I can’t remember what it was but it’s possible!

It's the upside-down portal 😅 Ok jokes aside. Check the land it was built on and the history and if anything it could be in the bones of the shed our the ground. But I would check what happened. That would give you a clue of the origin
