It’s mandatory to take it where I’m from. You take a written test and only get your learners permit AFTER you pass the MSF course. Then you have to wait 9 months to take your final road test 🙃

Approximately 300 in Texas and it's required to take to get the license/endorsement. A lot of the classes here you do the classroom portion online ahead of time it's covered as part of the $300. After you finish the test at the end of the class you can go get the endorsement same day no extra tests or anything!

I think you should only do it if you’ve never ridden a bike at all.Otherwise it’s just expensive,takes like two weeks to do and barely decreases insurance.

Honestly, with the fact that bikers keep popping up on my FYP plus it’s rather cheap compared to buying a new car. I was thinking about trying it out, but I have no sense of balance and I have hundreds of questions.
