I went a few years then started backsliding on “special occasions.” A year later i was right back to drinking every day. My brain lies and tells me i can control it. I now know better. Havent had a drop in 28 months.

I quit for 3 months and then started drinking some on the weekends but I’ve blown it! So stay the course or you’ll go right back to where you were if you’re not careful. JMO.

i drink maybe 8 beers on the weekends Nothing during the week. if you control it, its not bad, you just can't let it control you.

You got this, keep at it. I started a couple weeks after you & your TikTok’s were inspiring & relatable. Today is 326. You’re doing great, don’t give in it’s not worth it. I’ve mentioned before I own 2 bars. Keep fighting the good fight, just remember how much better things are for your family, faith and business. Thanks for sharing.

the goal doesn't have to be to stay sober always. if you can have a few drinks on vacation, and then go back to being sober for a while, then you've won. you're in control, and that is the biggest achievement of all.

300 days today. I am so happy to see this post. you are back to using this app for outlet again. you are the inspiration I need! the real down to earth honesty. Thank you. I have shared before I relapsed and was not able to stop for a few years, so jumping right back in is AMAZING! When I relapsed I did the controlled drinking, until I didn't. Just my experience! 🙏

I think it’s ok to start your count over, but it doesn’t erase every day you didn’t drink before that. I only follow you and one other person for sobriety motivation. A little nervous I won’t make my year even thought I’m at 292 days. This is a good reminder we are human and even if I fall, I can get back up. Just like you. 🙌

for me it is a lot easier to stay sober than to get there after almost 6 years I have forgotten what it feels like to drink all I remember is all the bad that came along with it
