I’ve seen his description of the priesthood quite a few times and I see that same sentiment being echoed in marriage and fatherhood. To be a husband, or to be a father means you must die even more than just daily. It’s so deep to partake in the things God is Himself. None of us could ever amount to the greatness of His love as our Father, or as the Husband of the Church, but those things humble us and teach us to be more like Him.
