This video idea originally started out as a way to honor Asian Heritage Month in my own way, by talking about veganism from an East Asian lens. But I really was drawn to taking a more holistic approach and I wanted to include other cultures in this conversation too. I’ll definitely make a video in the future talking more specifically about the connections between veganism and Asian culture, religion, and values. Veganism is white. Vegetarianism is more indigenous. Most Indians and Buddhists are vegetarians, it would be difficult to find a vegan..you would but not many
