you just lost me at DND and Bettles though... I really wanted to like Beetles and I used to have a bunch of their gel polishes but they just dont cure properly sometimes and the smell is too strong... just not enough Photoinitiators. DND just inconsistent

baby yesssss!! I bought some acid free dehydrated and protein bind off amazon for like 20 for the set, and it has lasted me almost 6 years. I can't even remember the brand right now, but they give me and my clients the best retention ever. Also, Deenti acrylic powder and monomer is AMAZING.

I’ve been doing nails for 5-6 years and I’ve always use protein bind from YN and it’s amazing for me I love it, it’s all I use.

Yes finally someone said something about yn primer. It doesn’t work 😭 I keep convincing it works it does nothing. I love ibd I will never use luminary. Ibd works so good the application is so easy. Also love dnd but I hate some dnd when you buy it the oil separation has ruined me a lot of whites.

idk i can’t stand DND whenever i use it , its so thin and not pigmented, so i take longer doing a set bc i need to add another coat

I have so many issues with DnD polishes!! They aren’t consistent in the color, some don’t cure well even with thin layers, and they send out clear bottles that are supposedly gel but dry out two seconds on the nail and then get goopy. Some of the base colors are good though. I do love tea time!

I got the Beetles Dehydrator and Primer and use them with Kokoist Mega Stick Base and Kokoist Platinum Filler Base and no issues so far. I am a beginner with builder gel and have gotten good retention and no pilling. Thanks for the recommendations!
