Many progressives in California are still deciding between @Tom Steyer, a self proclaimed “Anti Billionaire’s Billionaire” with far left policies, and @Xavier Becerra for Governor, a legacy Democrat with a proven history of enacting change. Many feel that next to Steyer, Bacerra is a moderate with centrist concerns. Others feel that Steyer’s past contradicts his proposed policies. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with both candidates and here is my take on the race. I disagree with ur analysis of Baccerra’s record. Many of his closest colleagues have described him as ineffective and incompetent. And the $ he’s taken from corps makes it more likely that, if he were to accomplish anything, it would be in the interests of the ruling class. Also, at this time in Californian history, we cannot afford to have a governor who ignores the pressing threat of environmental catastrophe.
