I think u should let him play but monitor who he adds and how much time he plays. I was his age when I started to play and I was an addict and no one monitored me. But the content itself isn’t harmful

personally I think as long as there's no voice chat and you're monitoring while he plays, fortnite is alright for him to play (ideally with you). that being said, I also think it's entirely reasonable to wait until 12, all depending on his personal level of maturity and ability to handle material like that

For my experience on Fortnite, I always see my little Nephew* play Fortnite and nothing bad has happened. He knows better not to talk to people so I think Fortnite is fine for him just don’t let him talk to other people or let him have a mic
