Thinking I had all the time in the world. Because one minute you're bringing your baby home. And the next you're sitting there wondering where the last 9 months went. When I saw that positive pregnancy test again, I realised something. I didn't want to spend another maternity leave assuming I'd "figure it out later” I wanted to be intentional this time. I wanted to spend those months creating memories... But also creating options. Because the truth is, maternity leave ends whether we're ready or not. And I didn’t want to be in that position AGAIN where I felt like I had no choice but to go back to work before I was emotionally ready 💔 So while everyone was asking about baby names and nursery themes... I was quietly building something for our future.. I started learning about digital products and Canva. Things like planners, invitations, checklists and other downloadable products ✨ And what I loved most was that I could fit it around normal mum life. During nap times. In the evenings once the kids were asleep. I wasn't trying to build some huge business. I was simply giving myself another option for the future. And looking back now? It’s one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself Because when maternity leave came to an end, I had options!
