@babyphat512: What a shame!! 😡😡This is what happened at my daughter High school at Del Valle High School Graduation. It’s heartbreaking that racism and division still take away from moments that should be filled with pride and celebration. At the end of the day, graduation is about recognizing the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of every student no matter their race, nationality, or background. My daughter is mixed and graduating in the top ten percent of her class and earning National Honor Society recognition is an incredible achievement that deserves to be celebrated with respect and equality. Every student that is Black, Mexican, White, or any other background worked hard to walk across that stage. What should matter most is that they made it, supported one another, and reached an important milestone in their lives together.
