Yall “it’s not a entity” it’s easier to classify it as that because it is NOT NIKKI. Nikki cannot love bear, so the wish suppressed her actual sense of autonomy and the “entity” is the one that loves bear, but that “entity” cannot get real love because bear doesn’t love nikki. Not at all. Bear just liked the idea, but when it was ACTUALLY Nikki he ignored her.

am i the only one that picked up when she said “you wished for this” after the car scene and i feel like that like helps us understand that she fully knows that she’s under that spell and its just another sign of her trying to break through the wish.

I agree he loved the idea of her. In the car scene when he finally realized the real love was in front of him the whole time it was way too late and that completely snapped him out of it. Every time the real Nikki snapped back he checked out and ignored her. He was the true villain

I’d argue he DID love Nikki. I don’t think his love was true, but he did love her. Once he made the wish, Nikki completely changed. She wasn’t who he was in love with but had her face so he convinced himself everything was fine
