@electraarchive: Romy Schneider’s iconic black bikini in the opening scene of la piscine(1969) remains one of the most timeless swimwear images to me. Set around a villa on the Côte d’Azur, the film is filled with stillness, muted interiors and a quiet sensual tension and it is one of those films I return to every summer. This time I got inspired to reinterpret that feeling through my own vision. Keeping the simplicity of the original while translating it through a more modern proportions and a unique subtle detail.
