It’s actually an insult and a harmful stereotype against Yoruba people when someone says, “You don’t look Yoruba.” How exactly is a Yoruba person supposed to look? Dirty? Ugly? Uncivilized? Yoruba people come in different shades, features, and appearances just like every other ethnic group. Statements like that should not be normalized or condoned.
