I have been doing ornithology! As a field trip I went to a falconry class. Look up falconers or falconry near you and there may be someone in the sport who does classes or experiences. I learned a lot about raptors and the sport of falconry.

A good activity for anthropology is to read “Body Ritual Among the Nacirema” and write a 1-2 page report about the things you notice in as respectful a manner as you can achieve. I had to do it as a final for my college anthro class, It was a very eye-opening little article ☺️

I did something similar with mythology where I wrote a whole journal as if I followed it, and then wrote at the end how religion can be turned into mythology.
