I had the privilege of participating in theTech Diplomacy Global Forum 2026, Organized at the @UNESCO headquarters around the theme « Building Trust in a Fragmented Era ». This day brought together ministers, ambassadors, academics, artificial intelligence experts, representatives of international organizations and leaders in the technology sector to reflect on an essential question: how to build technology governance based on trust, cooperation and common values? Over the course of the exchanges, several major issues were addressed: - technological diplomacy; - the governance of artificial intelligence; - cyberdiplomacy; - digital sovereignty; - the role of technology companies in international relations; - responsible innovation in the service of the general interest. This conference reinforced a conviction that I gradually develop throughout my career: major international challenges can no longer be approached only from a diplomatic or political perspective. They now require an understanding of the technological transformations that are redesigning relations between states, international organizations, companies and societies. Currently a student in Master 2 Relations and International Affairs at the University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3, I will pursue next year a specialization in Sea Economics and Coastal Planning at the University of Toulon. My ambition is to develop expertise at the intersection of diplomacy of influence, institutional communication, technological transformations and maritime issues, in order to support States, international organizations and companies in the development of their strategic influence, international partnerships and external operations. The discussions of this day showed that technologies now directly influence maritime spaces: securing port infrastructure, protecting submarine cables, monitoring maritime areas by satellite and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity of ports, data governance and sustainable development of the blue economy. For me, understanding these developments has become essential. The maritime challenges of tomorrow will no longer be solely a matter of law or geopolitics: they will also be technological, digital and strategic. I warmly thank UNESCO, the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute and all the stakeholders for the quality of the exchanges and this inspiring vision of 21st century diplomacy. #unesco #diplomacy #Tech #tdgi #Relationship
