I literally watched Amphibia at the perfect moment in my life. This show teaches us that nothing ever stays the same. Time goes by and there's nothing we can do about it. Changes will happen, it's inevitable. I watched Amphibia during my last months of middle school, + lots of personal stuff was happening that changed my whole life. I had a truly hard time catching up with all the changes. But watching Amphibia made me realize that yes, changes happen, yes they will be permanent, but there's nothing I can do about it. My life will inevitably change, that's the point of it. Nothing stays in place. And rather than pushing it away and being in denial, I should embrace that change. Sure it will take time until I get used to it, but at one point it'll become the new "normal". And most importantly, maybe that change will help me meet new people and turn my life upside down in a good way. And it did. I met amazing new people, learned to see the positive side of a situation and started to actually like myself rather than pushing myself to change. All that to say that "Change can be difficult, but it's how we grow. It can be the hardest thing to realize, you can't hold on to something forever. Sometimes, you have to let it go. But of the things you let go, you'd be surprised what makes its was back to you" This quote lives rant free in my head, all the time. It's perfect.
