I think it would be nice to show how they got closer in my AU again. They're like divorced couple but somehow they only belong to each other 😔 CONTEXT: Their worst fight was early after Tsu's death. Shinobu was acting strangely having not slept for several days. She was often sick during this time as well. Giyu visited her estate daily trying to soothe her. This time was different however. She was restless and anxious so an argument erupted that night. Mostly about how Tsu was raised and what went wrong. Giyu mostly tried to de-escalate the situation. Realizing he wasn't getting anywhere with her, he turned around to give her space causing her to say something that finally made him snap. Turning back around he said, "she was my daughter too how could you say something like that?!" Shinobu quickly realized what she had said and she apologized quickly grabbing on to him and finally breaking down. The stress of their daughter's death had made her agitated and sick. Giyu was very understanding and held her telling her that he only wanted her to get some rest and take care of herself. He offered to stay the night and she let him. After this he frequently visited her, and she'd also sneak away to see him as well when she couldn't sleep. ⚠️ DISCLAIMER ⚠️ this is my own AU!!
