Y'all must be driving terrible cars. Honda Jazz with over 80k on the clock (which isn't much for a Honda anyway) - Start Stop has always been enabled and has never caused any issues... Maybe maintain your cars better

i always turn it of, i drive an automatic so if i hit the pedal to the metal i am flying off, if the motor needs to start first you lose.
