Man I lost so much faith when I watched my momma die of cancer. I didn't follow Him for thirty years. Came back last year. He had never left me no matter what I was doing or where I was at.

I don’t think God purposely allow bad things to happen from my knowledge its a result of either our free will or natural afflictions like cancer. What He does is try to make us find the good in our suffering.

It’s crazy cuz in the Bible it says it’s better to be at funerals then celebrations meaning it’s better to go thru things and learn from them then be perfect and nothing happening to you.. if you don’t go through things how do you expect to learn or grow ?

I don’t blame God for my suffering. People have free will and our humanity is corrupt. I’m just grateful He doesn’t leave me alone in my suffering

God doesn’t make bad things happen. He gave us free will so we would choose to do good. The trade off is we have to suffer at times. But the suffering tests us and pushes us to do good and love God anyway.

I think it’s hard for people to recognize that we take responsibility for all of the things we do. God COULD step in and prevent a lot of suffering but in doing so we wouldn’t truly have free will.

I have never been angry with God. He gave people free will and sometimes people use that free will for bad. I have experienced a lot of awful things but I feel that He is the reason I made it out the other side.

I can honestly understand the sadness, disapointment and hurt if they were going through trauma and felt like God abandoned them.. I can only pray God will leave the 99 to find the one and heal their heart and spirit.
