STOP WATERING DEAD FLOWERS. One of the hardest things I’ve had to learn is that something can have been beautiful, meaningful, and completely real… and still have a season that ends. We have this idea that unconditional love means we must hold on unconditionally. It doesn’t. You can love someone and release them. You can forgive someone and no longer give them access to you. You can pray for someone, want the absolute best for them, and finally accept that their next chapter may not include you. Because eventually, you have to stop watering dead flowers. Not because the flower was never beautiful. Not because you regret the garden. Not because the love wasn’t real. But because the season changed. And sometimes we hold on so long that we don’t even realize we aren’t holding the flower anymore… we’re squeezing the stem. The petals are gone. The color has faded. Yet our hands are bleeding because we’re desperately trying to hold onto evidence that something beautiful once existed. Let it have been beautiful. Let it have mattered. Let it have been real. And then have the courage to let it go. That doesn’t mean you outgrew someone. It doesn’t mean you’re better than them. It simply means you’re moving forward. Be thankful for the lessons. Be grateful for the memories. Honor the love that was shared. Forgiveness should flow. Grace should abound. People are imperfect, and love should never demand perfection. But there is a difference between someone struggling with you and someone leaving you to struggle alone. There’s a difference between fighting for love and fighting to convince someone to love you. At some point, relationship has to ask: Do you choose me too? Stop calling it loyalty when maintaining it requires abandoning yourself. Sometimes the most loving thing you can do is open your hand. Thank God for what bloomed. Thank Him for what it taught you. Thank Him for the season you were given. And then walk forward without bitterness. Some flowers aren’t meant to bloom forever. That doesn’t make them any less beautiful. It just means their season was real—and now it’s time for yours to change. #RadicalMovement #LetGoAndGrow #HealingJourney
