@shaynateresetaylor: Casa Constantia, you have my whole heart. I fell in love with Oaxaca years ago and knew I would keep coming back for as long as life allowed. Choosing to be here for my bachelorette felt more than fitting. It felt like coming home. We stayed in a house right on the water, almost completely open to the outside, which meant we were fully wrapped in nature from the moment we woke up to the moment we closed our eyes. The sound of the ocean, the warm air, the earth beneath our feet. There was nowhere else to be but right there. Every morning we were gifted fresh juice, fruits, and vegetables, each meal prepared with so much love and thought for every single person at the table. The staff made us feel so genuinely welcomed into their culture that we are all still talking about it. A short drive into town opened up even more beauty. Shops, beaches, the people we got to meet, all of it. But what this house really gave us was space. Space to be ourselves. To laugh loudly, sit in stillness, meditate, feel grateful, and just be. It felt far less like a rental and so much more like a home. In the short time we had the privilege of staying there, it held us in a way none of us will ever forget. These are memories I will carry for the rest of my life, made in one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the honor of being. Thank you, Puerto Escondido.
