I'm sorry I love FF as a series and generally don't have much bad to say about lots of games, I'm pretty forgiving and love to find unique things/silver linings. FF16 had incredibly boring and dull combat. I was excited about getting new powers and they always were just...kind of lame. You used your abilities good at staggering to stagger then load into them with high damage abilities. Enemies were often just high HP but otherwise easy. Some boses were so boring but took forever to fight. Sadly the story was really good but the pacing was horrible and the combat got really bland really fast.

The bosses n the story (for the most part) were peak but god did the game have issues. Bad optimization in certain areas, pacing, damage sponges (it’s fun to play the game but every enemy takes forever), the side content was also boring too.
