I’m a dental hygienist. We’re just so used to this and they probably moved off muscle memory.😂 I’ve sat the doctors patients and automatically put the bib on. Then the assistant will tell me later we were just giving them their retainers. No clue why you were laid back though lmao

Last time I had a consultation with a dentist he had me meet him in what used to be the managers office at what used to be a liquor store. Like brother I know you had to travel a little for this but couldn't we have met at MY dentists office???

Off topic, but on topic, Botox for my TMJ saved my life (literally). So much happier while I’m not in constant pain but it’s annoying that it has to redone 2-4 times a year

My dentist has an office. Like with a desk and a chair I can sit in. I was in shock when I saw it. Like what you do mean we can have a normal conversation and not one where one of us is laying down with stuff in our mouth

I still got the bib for a convo but I was not reclined until she wanted to double check my teeth after the convo. I would have to guess muscle memory and they just didn’t think it was weird to have a convo with you horizontal 😂
