The Offences and Trial Details Donaldson initially refused to cooperate, giving "no comment" answers during his police interview. However, digital forensic evidence from his mobile phone provided an undeniable trail of his persistence, forcing him to plead guilty to arranging the commission of a child sexual offence. Sentences and Court Orders The judiciary at Stafford Crown Court sentenced Donaldson to two years and six months in prison. To ensure long-term public protection, the court also imposed a strict twenty-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order to monitor his internet usage and placed him on the sex offenders register for life. Investigation and Impact Detective Constable Georgina Brotherhood noted that Donaldson was persistent in his pursuit.
