@lindseyecook: For fans of fashion, the royals, and/or history, the exhibition on Queen Elizabeth II’s wardrobe that is currently on display in London is an absolute must-see. “Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life In Style” features over 300 items from the Queen’s wardrobe, ranging from childhood ensembles to the outfit she wore in her final public appearance. Her wedding dress and coronation dresses are amongst the highlights, but I was blown away by the thought that went into each and every piece on display. It’s an incredible and comprehensive retrospective of Queen Elizabeth II’s use of fashion throughout her life, and a wonderful celebration of the designers and artisans who crafted these looks as well. Tickets had been sold out, but due to the incredible popularity of this exhibition, they’ve actually just extended it through April 2027! So if you’ll be in London before then, I would highly recommend purchasing tickets and witnessing these pieces of fashion history firsthand. It’s impressive how much thought and intention went into every outfit and her whole wardrobe. My favourite is when she intentionally wears a colour/design which shows her feelings, good or bad, about a place/event. She doesn’t even have to speak to convey her thoughts. Subtle, but speaks volumes!
