Well, three things. F2P aren't "cooked," they give 100 or more pulls per version, plus anniversary gifts. Getting agents shouldn't be a problem if you're consistent, and the free-to-play agents options are functional And beating the endgame with low-cost teams is possible (I use A rank Billy). So, meta isn't a must, nothing forces you to have the premium team
