Pilot here, it’s not that easy to see objects at your altitude directly off the nose, especially stationary ones. Paragliders may be easily visible from one perspective but nearly invisible horizontally. When you fly at aircraft altitude and in the middle of a valley, without a radio, you’re inviting danger.
