First of all… my toddler throw up in his car seat and it’s getting washed the same way. Second, these cost hundreds of dollars. It better be able to withstand soap and water 😅

No bleach or harsh chemicals were used here. Didn’t submerge and leave soaking the harness straps. This car seat 100% is still safe.

The straps and base are NOT meant to be soaked….. that’s why the cover comes off.

For future trips: Puppy pads. I lined the seat under a top cushion layer, and could just swap those in emergencies.
