Add a shut off gas line valve and close it and run it dry before you put it away. Has worked for me for 17yrs. The gas gums up and sediment settles in the bowl.

I have a John Deere X300 ride on mower with a Kawasaki engine and it’s been giving me a headache. The mower runs for 15-20 minutes and dies like if it’s not getting enough fuel, but I’ve cleaned the fuel line from tank to carburetor. If I let it sit for a while and get back on it, it’ll run until I activate the blades.
